Igor Sergeenko oversaw the reconstruction of facilities for "Dozhinki"
Also under the attention of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, authorized representative of the Head of State in the Vitebsk region, Igor Sergeenko, are facilities scheduled for commissioning as part of the preparations for the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dozhinki-2026".
The Speaker inspected the progress of work on Lenin Square, where the main events of the holiday will take place, and in the premises of the future boxing hall, where reconstruction and construction work is underway. The building of Secondary School No. 3 named after Hero of the Soviet Union E. Tomko already has a finished aesthetic appearance, and landscaping of the school grounds is continuing.
At the regional headquarters led by Igor Sergeenko, with the participation of the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov and Deputy Chairmen of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexey Guida and Petr Belus, the progress of preparations for "Dozhinki" was analyzed.
– Miory has been transformed in recent years, – emphasized Igor Petrovich, while at the same time urging to increase the pace of work: – Everything is proceeding according to plan, and areas requiring greater attention, including control by the authorities, have been identified to ensure the holiday takes place. "Dozhinki" is a good opportunity to make the district center cleaner and more beautiful, but the participation of residents in tidying up is also important.
The headquarters also considered the prospects for the development of the district as a whole, including personnel issues in the healthcare sector.
