Курган Дружбы в очередной раз стал местом, объединяющим тех, кто хранит память о героическом прошлом и чтит подвиг поколений, отстоявших свободу и независимость.

The Mound of Friendship once again became a place uniting those who preserve the memory of a heroic past and honor the feat of generations who defended freedom and independence.

People have gathered here for whom the history of their joint struggle remains part of their personal destiny and national identity.

Today, July 5, a landmark site on the border of Belarus and Russia – the Kurgan Druzhby (Friendship Mound) – became a center of attraction for those who remember and honor the feat of their ancestors. The 67th meeting is dedicated to the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War, the partisan movement, and underground fighters, whose fates are inextricably linked with the common struggle for freedom.

The delegation from the Miory District includes Valery Drabo, Chairman of the Miory District Council of Deputies, and Alexander Zhuk, Deputy Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee.
