Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus in Miory began with a rally-requiem "We Glorify the Great Feat" at the mass grave on the Square of Memory of Fallen Fighters.
The event was attended by the district leadership, representatives of public organizations and work collectives, working and student youth, as well as residents of Miory region.
The welcoming speech was delivered by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Alexander Yarokhnovich.
The memory of all who fought for a peaceful future was honored with a minute of silence. As a sign of boundless gratitude and respect, flowers were laid at the mass grave.
We remember the feat of the heroes! Happy holiday, Belarus!
