On April 9, an open dialogue entitled "Peace is Beautiful Without War!" was held at Chepukovskaya Secondary School, dedicated to the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps.
The dialogue was attended by Alexander Zhuk — Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Oksana Ashurko — Head of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the District Executive Committee, Maxim Filipovich — Chairman of the Youth Council under the Miory District Council of Deputies.
A distinguished guest at the event was Lyudmila Belevich — a prisoner of a fascist concentration camp, who shared her mother’s recollections of the atrocities and violence of the German occupiers, of the people’s faith in liberation and victory over fascism, and wished the young attendees to safeguard peace on their native land, preserve the memory of veterans, and cherish the history of their country.
