Today, a meeting was held at the district library between the leadership of the Miory district and internationalist warriors.

The event was attended by Valeriy Drabo, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, and Aleksandr Zhuk, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee.

Participants recalled their years of service in Afghanistan and spoke about the value of in-person communication, although many of them find their comrades-in-arms specifically through social networks. Today, 58 Afghan war veterans reside in the district, and in total, approximately 100 residents have fulfilled their international duty. The event was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, serving as a good platform for communication and providing an opportunity to pose questions to district leadership and receive consultations on labor legislation.
