Our compatriot Stepan Danilov secured a top-five finish in the men's mass start at a stage of the Russian Biathlon Championship.

During the first stage of the Russian Biathlon Championship in Izhevsk, a men's mass start was held. Among Belarusian competitors, Stepan Danilov achieved the best result, finishing in fifth place.
He performed exceptionally well on the ski track, successfully hitting 19 out of 20 targets during the shooting stages, but ultimately did not secure a medal position. The Belarusian athlete finished 8.2 seconds behind the winner.
