On December 18, as part of the "STEP" project, a session was held on the topic: "To be a worthy citizen of the Republic of Belarus means knowing and respecting the history of one's country."

Within the framework of the dialogue platform “Preserving Historical Memory!”, students in grades 9–11 met with representatives of the Marine Corps.

The students recalled the biography of E.A. Tomko, viewed a film about the school being named after a Hero of the Soviet Union, and subsequently engaged in conversation with the guests.

Marines spoke about their service, extreme situations, camaraderie, and friendship. The guests solemnly presented the school administration with a flag bearing the inscription “Marine Brotherhood – Indestructible! The Fleet Remembers Everyone, Including Me.”

The veterans requested the students' assistance in gathering information about local naval personnel, so that they could jointly preserve this memory. Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Alexander Zhuk also took part in the event.
