Campaign "Together for Safety!"
From October 25 to November 2, 2025, as part of the main stage of the republican campaign "For Safety Together!", measures will be implemented in the Miory district to prevent fires and fire-related fatalities in residential buildings. In addition to emergency responders, the campaign will involve representatives of the internal affairs authorities, healthcare, committees on labor and social protection, education, housing and communal services, gas supply and energy sectors, as well as representatives of local executive and regulatory bodies.
The objective of the campaign is to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' failure to comply with fire safety regulations in residential buildings and structures, settlements, and territories, including rural areas; to increase public awareness of the services provided by state organizations in the field of fire safety; and to strengthen law and order by preventing offenses committed by citizens under the influence of alcohol.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will visit elderly individuals living alone, persons with disabilities, as well as families with children in socially hazardous situations, providing explanations and recommendations on improving fire safety in residential premises. The campaign schedule includes joint inspections, information exchange, and meetings with work teams. Staff of housing and communal services, as well as personnel providing home-based social and medical assistance, will receive training in life safety fundamentals, fire and other emergency prevention measures, and appropriate response procedures.
