Attention to economic entities and individuals!

As of July 1, 2025, the requirement to read from cash register equipment the information contained in unified control marks, which currently label most goods, including everyday consumer goods (vegetable oil, coffee, tea, non-alcoholic beverages, etc.), will be abolished, as will the requirement to maintain separate accounting for goods marked with unified control marks. The requirement to transmit information on the sale of such goods to the SKKO will also be abolished.

For goods subject to marking with identification means (dairy products, footwear, tires, and certain light industry goods – outerwear, table, bed, and kitchen linen), the obligation to scan identification means and transmit information to the SKKO remains in force. Since most models of new cash register equipment support the function of extracting the GTIN barcode from identification means, it will be sufficient to scan only the identification means when selling such goods, which will simplify the customer service process, including at self-service checkouts.
