The Collegium on Animal Husbandry and the seminar-meeting on fodder preparation gathered directors and specialists of agricultural enterprises of the Miory district at JSC "Uzmenski kraj".
The discussion covered issues related to the gross output of agricultural products, livestock preservation, and the insemination of cows and heifers.
The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Alexander Yarokhnovich, and his deputy, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food, Ivan Yurashok, conducted a detailed analysis of the situation at each farm and issued specific directives to their managers. One of the directives required ensuring that the marketability of milk remains at no less than 90%.
Following the meeting at the Uzmen Culture House, members of the collegium visited the machinery yard, and subsequently observed the construction of a haylage and silage trench at the "Novye Uzmeny" farm, as well as the reconstruction of a livestock facility for tethered housing in Brizhinki.
