The new head of the Miory District, Alexander Yarokhnovich, was presented at a session of the District Council of Deputies.
At the 14th extraordinary session of the Miory District Council of Deputies, with the consent of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Alexander Yarokhnovich was appointed Chairman of the District Executive Committee.
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Mikhailovich Subbotin, presented the new head with an official service certificate and outlined specific tasks: to assess the situation as promptly as possible and identify growth areas to accelerate the district's development. "Monitor developments closely! The district is excellent, featuring numerous landmarks, fertile soil, and dedicated residents. Therefore, it should accommodate not only small-scale production facilities but also industrial and agricultural enterprises. Please take care of the people," Alexander Subbotin advised.
Alexander Subbotin noted that the outgoing head, Sergey Semyonychev, had made a substantial contribution to the socio-economic development of the Miory district. In 2024, the district achieved its targets in industrial production output, investment in fixed capital, nominal accrued average monthly wage, total revenue collected into the consolidated budget, exports of goods and services, residential construction commissioned using all funding sources, and retail trade turnover. The regional head expressed his gratitude to Sergey Semyonychev for his work and presented him with the Honorary Certificate of the Regional Executive Committee.
