Dear residents of the Miory District! On May 9, we together celebrate the 80th Victorious Spring.
The events of May 1945 recede ever further into history, yet the memory of our nation's great feat does not fade with time. It is passed down from generation to generation, helping us overcome challenges and inspiring new accomplishments.
Victory Day will forever remind us of the heroism and steadfastness of the defenders of the Motherland, of the immense and irretrievable losses and devastation that secured the freedom of present-day generations.
On this day, together we bow our heads in reverence to the glorious memory of the sons and daughters of our Motherland who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our homeland, and for our peaceful future.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the older generation, who endured the hardships and privations of the terrible war and helped rebuild the country from the ruins and ashes. Their strength of spirit, courage, and professional achievements forever remain a spiritual pillar and an example of devoted love for our homeland.
