REPUBLICAN FIRE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN TO PREVENT FIRES AND DEATHS FROM THEM IN THE HOUSING STOCK

In order to improve the level of public safety, intensify fire prevention work, analyze its effectiveness, and assess the readiness of territories for the spring-summer fire hazard period, from March 17 to April 4, 2025, the republican campaign to prevent fires and deaths from them in the housing stock "Together for Safety" is being conducted.

Objective: reducing the number of fires caused by citizens' failure to comply with fire safety regulations in residential buildings and structures, populated areas, and territories, including rural areas; increasing public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services in the field of fire safety assurance; strengthening law and order; preventing offenses committed by citizens under the influence of alcohol.

Tasks:

1. Inform the public about the state of fire safety, explain to citizens the consequences of failing to comply with fire safety regulations, leaving children unattended, and abusing alcoholic beverages.

2. Provide assistance to republican state management bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations in training citizens in fire safety measures in everyday life and at work, and provide assistance to non-standard fire formations in organizing fire prevention work.

3. Draw the attention of local executive and administrative bodies to the necessity of conducting regular and targeted work to ensure fire safety in the respective territory, including increasing the level of fire protection for residential properties (apartments) of single and elderly persons living alone, persons with disabilities, and large families.
