We sincerely congratulate you on the 85th anniversary of the establishment of Miory District!

On January 15, 1940, in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Byelorussian SSR, Miory District was established in the Prydvinnya region.

85 years is but a fleeting moment in history, yet for the district it represents a period of severe wartime trials, post-war recovery, labor, and nation-building. It is symbolic that we celebrate the district's jubilee in the year marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. We pay tribute to our compatriots who fought valiantly on the front lines and in the enemy rear, defending the freedom and independence of the Motherland, and who rebuilt cities and villages. Generation after generation, the people of Miory have glorified their native land through military valor and labor achievements, demonstrating resilience, patriotism, and spiritual strength, thereby laying a solid social and economic foundation. Today, Miory District is a unique corner of peaceful, blue-eyed Belarus, whose history is shaped by strong-willed people who give their heart and soul to their native region.

Together we live on our native land, reverently honor our historical past, remember our heroes, and preserve and enhance the finest traditions of our predecessors. We express our deepest gratitude to each of you who contributed to the establishment of the district, who has worked diligently and continues to work on this native land, and who takes your first steps toward great successes and endeavors.
