Memorial Rally "Only Memory Is Imperishable", dedicated to the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide, honoring their dignity and preventing this crime.
Rally participants gathered at grave No. 5708 in Miory, where Jews executed by punitive units on June 2, 1942, are buried.
District leadership, representatives of labor collectives, members of the District Youth Chamber, and students from the military-patriotic class of Secondary School No. 2 named after N.G. Izvarin paid tribute to the deceased with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the base of the burial site. At the civilian burial site in Disna, students from Disna Secondary School named after Hero of the Soviet Union M.A. Kuzmin took part in the requiem rally. The International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Genocide became a significant event for all attendees, uniting generations in their commitment to preserving the memory of past tragedies.
Remembering the past in the name of the future
