The telebridge "Russia and Belarus are strong in unity", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State, connected Miora and Olenino.
The leadership of the Miory District, represented by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Sergey Semyonychev, the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Valeriy Drabo, and the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Alexander Zhuk, maintained contact with the Head of the Oleninsky Municipal District of the Tver Region, Oleg Dubov.
Representatives of the Youth Chamber and the Union of Working Youth were also present. The district head, Sergey Semyonychev, noted: "The Russian Federation is today our closest friend and brother. The 25-year milestone indicates that much has already been accomplished, while much remains to be done. Currently, there is unrest on the borders of our Motherland, but we are safe, as our territories shared with Russia remain intact. We are united – we are invincible. The Union must exist. It was bound to come into being. We will fill it with concrete actions".
