On May 9, we celebrate the brightest and most cherished holiday for each of us, whose grandeur is timeless – the 79th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
Years pass, generations change, the world evolves, but the memory and pride for those who bestowed freedom and independence are passed from generation to generation, live in every family and every heart, and unite and bind us all together with a living thread of love and devotion to our Homeland.
The unity and cohesion, steadfastness and courage, endurance and indomitable spirit of the Soviet people in the struggle against fascist invaders will always serve as a bright example of patriotism, selfless love for one's Homeland, and faith in the future.
We bow our heads in memory of the sons and daughters of our Homeland who gave their lives for our peaceful future. With sincere gratitude, we remember all those who did not live to see the 79th victorious spring.
