Meeting with a Delegate of the Supreme Council

The first session of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly was attended by 1,166 delegates and over 700 guests from various regions of Belarus, including five and one, respectively, from the Miory district. They worked productively. This was emphasized by Chairman Sergey Semyonichev while opening the meeting of the District Executive Committee. He noted that the most important issue today is preserving peace.

"It is essential to counter external threats through unity and combined efforts of all. What is happening in the world and around our country today, all ABPA participants had heard about earlier," noted the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee, Sergey Semyonichev. "But the true state of affairs became clear following the addresses by the Head of State and the heads of law enforcement agencies. They understood how timely our country is taking various measures to secure its borders and preserve peace. With peace, the economy and social sphere will develop, and people's welfare will grow."
