Hour of Requiem "Memory That Knows No Oblivion"
On April 11, on the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps, a memorial hour titled "Memory That Cannot Be Forgotten" was held at the Miory Central District Library.
The event was attended by district leadership and students from city schools.
Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Valeriy Drabo reminded the youth of the importance of preserving the memory of the heroic feat of the Belarusian people, and wished the youth peaceful, constructive work for the benefit of their native region.
Prosecutor of the Miory District Andrey Vetyugov informed the young participants about the ongoing work of the General Prosecutor's Office in connection with the criminal case concerning the genocide of the Belarusian people.
The event participants were given a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the memoirs of prisoners of fascism.
