OSVOD of the Miory District informs

Officially, the bathing season in the Republic of Belarus begins on May 1, 2024, and ends on September 30, 2024.

There are 96 water bodies located within the territory of the Miory District.

In accordance with the Decision of the Miory Executive Committee dated November 11, 2023, No. 895 "On the Determination of Areas for the Use of Surface Water Bodies for Recreation, Sports, and Tourism", two beaches are operating: - at Lake Miory (City Park "Poluostrov"), - at Lake Obsterno (on the side of the village of Perebroye, Miory District).

Areas where swimming is prohibited for citizens: - chalk quarries, - technical and drainage canals, - fire ponds, - artificial reservoirs, - dams, - embankments, - locks and other hydraulic structures, - a section of the shoreline of Lake Miory – 50 meters in both directions from the bathhouse in the city of Miory, - the shoreline of Lake Miory along Ozyornaya Street in the city of Miory, - the shoreline of Lake Miory along Kirova Street in the city of Miory, from the bridge over the Meritsa River to the building of the Miory rescue station of OSVOD, - 100 meters in both directions from the ferry crossing on the Western Dvina River, located in the city of Disna, Miory District.
