A rally was held in Miory dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia
At the memorial marker honoring the Hero of the Soviet Union Yegor Andreyevich Tomko, district leadership, ideological workers, working youth, and students of Secondary School No. 3 named after Hero of the Soviet Union E. A. Tomko recalled the heroic feat of the renowned fellow townsman Yegor Tomko, whose fate was divided between two countries. Participants of the event laid flowers and paid tribute to his memory with a minute of silence.
