Memorial rally "Tears and Ashes of Khatyn" dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy
On March 22, representatives of the district's labor collectives, students of educational institutions in the city of Miory, members of the Youth Chamber, and representatives of the Council of Working Youth gathered at the Square of Remembrance of Fallen Fighters to pay tribute with a minute of silence and lay flowers as a sign of remembrance for those who perished, were shot, or tortured during the Great Patriotic War.
Meeting participants paid their respects at war victims' burial site No. 5708, where civilians were shot on June 2, 1942.
