An official opening of a climbing wall took place at the State Educational Institution "Miorany Secondary School No. 3 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union E.A. Tomko".
The opening of the climbing wall is a significant gift for children. Now the students have the opportunity to master another sport — rock climbing.
Students of the interest group "Altair" presented a training performance, with Dmitry Olegovich Boychuk as the supervisor.
The development of physical culture and sports is one of the priority areas of the Miorany district.
During the ceremonial event, Vladislav Cheslavovich Kashkur, Head of the Education Department of the Miorany District Executive Committee, awarded the winners of the regional stage of the republican contest for the best "Sports Tourist Hike", which was held from January 1 to November 1, 2023. 1st place: State Educational Institution "Disna Secondary School named after the Hero of the Soviet Union M.A. Kuzmin"; 2nd place: State Educational Institution "Poviat Secondary School named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.A. Babichev"; 3rd place: State Educational Institution "Chepukovskaya Secondary School".
