The Day of National Unity is a symbol of the unification of Belarusians, and of the aspiration for peace and mutual understanding. It reflects the main moral values of our people—pride in the achievements of our ancestors, patriotism, unity, and mutual assistance. Today we, Belarusians, live in a peaceful country, and in friendship and harmony we are building our peaceful future. We help one another, sow and harvest grain, build housing and social facilities, and raise the younger generation. And we do all this together, in harmony. What unites us all is the most important thing—our native and unique Belarus, and may our love for our homeland and our country always serve its prosperity. We can preserve and multiply our successes only together, just as our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were united. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish you, dear fellow citizens, strong health, prosperity, peace and kindness, success in good deeds for the benefit of our native Miory region and the Republic of Belarus!
