The summer health campaign has started in schools of the Miory District.

As of June 5, 18-day day camps have been organized at Miory Secondary School No. 2 named after Nikolai Izvarin, Novopogost Secondary School named after Gennady Tcitovich, Povyatskaya Secondary School named after Viktor Babichev, Uzmyany Basic School, and the Center for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation, serving 136 students.

At the Children and Youth Sports School, 100 young athletes are participating in the "Olympic" sports camp.

In schools within the town of Miory, 30 senior students are engaged in work and recreation camps. They will be undertaking landscaping and maintenance of the school grounds, as well as repairing school furniture.

In total, 510 students are scheduled to take part in health and recreation programs at school-based camps during the summer period. Special attention will be given to the well-being of orphaned children and those from large, low-income, and families in a socially dangerous situation.

Participants can look forward to engaging activities, hiking trips, excursions, interactive games, sports competitions, delicious meals, and outdoor walks.
