Memorial Rally Commemorating the Day of Mass Execution of Civilians in Miory

Today, a memorial rally-requiem was held in the city of Miory at a mass grave, commemorating the 81st anniversary of the execution of civilians by fascist invaders.

The commemorative events were attended by the leadership of the Miory District, representatives of the district center's labor collectives, and students from municipal schools.

Rally participants gathered at Grave No. 5708, where 758 Jewish victims executed by punitive units on June 2, 1942, are interred. They observed a minute of silence in memory of the deceased and laid flowers at the foot of the burial site.
