The Unified Information Day took place in the Turka Rural Council.
Information and publicity groups of the Miory District Executive Committee held meetings with labor collectives and residents of the Turkovsky Rural Council. The main topic for discussion was historical memory of the Great Patriotic War as a factor in fostering patriotism. Also in focus were the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Vitebsk Region and the socio-economic development of the district. The agenda also covered issues regarding the observance of Zero Trauma Week from May 15 to 21, control of giant hogweed, prevention of unlawful behavior, and fire safety.
The Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee discussed issues of concern to the local population during a meeting with residents of the Turkovo agrotown. These included the construction of an iron removal water treatment station in Turkovo, connection to electric heating, repair of local roads, and maintenance and improvement of populated areas.
Competent responses have been provided to the majority of questions raised by the public. Issues requiring further review have been placed under special control, and directives have been issued to address the identified problems.
