Swimming areas are designated within the territory of the Miory District.

Two swimming areas have been designated within the Miory District:

the territory within the boundaries of the municipal beach on Lake Miorska (City Park "Poluostrov"),

the territory within the boundaries of the beach on Lake Osterno (from the side of Perebrodje village, Miory District).

The corresponding decision was adopted by the Miory District Executive Committee.

Swimming is prohibited in chalk quarries, technical and drainage channels, fire ponds, artificial reservoirs, on dams, dikes, locks, and other hydraulic structures.

Hazardous swimming areas have been designated in the city of Miory:

the shore of Lake Miorska – 50 meters in both directions from the municipal bathhouse in Miory,

the shore of Lake Miorska on the side of Ozyornaya Street in Miory,

the shore of Lake Miorska on the side of Kirova Street in Miory from the bridge over the Meritsa River to the building of the Miory District branch of OSVOD.

In the city of Dysna, swimming is prohibited for 100 meters in both directions from the ferry crossing on the Western Dvina River.
