The opening of social facilities ahead of October Revolution Day has become a well-established tradition in Belarus. On the eve of the holiday and in celebration of the hospital’s 60th anniversary, local residents received a significant gift: following renovations, a fluorography department equipped with a new digital fluorograph has been opened.
– Today, the Beshenkovichy Central District Hospital is marking a significant milestone—its 60th anniversary. It is encouraging to see that healthcare in the region continues to develop and that the staff remains intact, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – Furthermore, we are establishing interregional centers that enhance access to high-quality medical care.
On the eve of October Revolution Day, Vyacheslav Durnov congratulated the institution’s staff on the upcoming holiday, emphasizing that while discussions regarding historical events are inevitable, it is impossible to overlook that this occasion served as a catalyst for substantial progress in our country and led to the establishment of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic.
– You can observe how significantly medical facilities have been transformed in recent years, and the Beshenkovichy Central District Hospital is no exception. Each year, new facilities are introduced here, improving conditions for both patients and hospital staff, – emphasized Mikhail Vishnevetsky, Head of the Main Directorate for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee. – On this occasion, I would like to wish that this building, which has become a second home for many of you, continues to maintain its warmth and comfort. This workplace, where you dedicate considerable time, must continue to develop, improve, and certainly be equipped with modern technology. These measures are essential for delivering high-quality and efficient medical care to the public.
– Our healthcare system is highly regarded in various countries, – highlighted Galina Unukovich, Chairwoman of the Beshenkovichy District Executive Committee. – It is no coincidence that patients travel to our region from abroad for treatment, including to our hospital. I thank you for your dedicated work and compassionate commitment. I am confident that we will continue to advance and grow.
Galina Unukovich pointed out that changes do not occur instantaneously. Nevertheless, considerable progress has already been made. For instance, the catering facility has been renovated, the equipment base of the physiotherapy department was upgraded last year, and today a fluorography cabinet has been opened in Beshenkovichy.
"Our specialists at the Central District Hospital employ excellent treatment methodologies. Patients travel to us from Minsk, aware of the affordable pricing and capabilities offered by our hospital. It is crucial that we recognize and appreciate this," she concluded. "Every individual strives for happiness, irrespective of their positions and titles. True fulfillment arises when we perceive our importance to others. Remember that you are valued by the public, the nation, your family, and loved ones. The primary objective is to preserve unity and mutual responsibility among the individual, society, and the state. By adhering to these principles, we will undoubtedly achieve success."
According to Svetlana Roshchina, Chief Physician of the Beshenkovichy Central District Hospital, the UniOptima-CR X-ray diagnostic unit, priced at 148,000 Belarusian rubles, was acquired through the Republican budget. An allocation of 370,000 rubles from the local budget was designated for the capital repair of the examination room. The ventilation system within the premises has been modernized, a radiation-shielded door has been installed, and the wall shielding properties have been enhanced. Adjacent rooms are also securely protected against X-ray radiation exposure.
Speaking with journalists, radiologist Viktoria Kachan noted that the UniOptima-CR unit is domestically produced and features a sufficiently wide range of applications.
"The new unit enables precise early diagnosis of chest diseases, allowing us to detect even the slightest alterations. State-of-the-art equipment, an ergonomic layout, and a well-structured workflow will enable examinations to be conducted more rapidly, with greater accuracy, and with maximum attention to each patient," Viktoria Kachan outlined. "Additional advantages of the unit include high throughput capacity, high-quality screening with robust patient protection, rapid and user-friendly image processing, storage, and transmission, as well as the capability to track and compare X-ray findings for the same patients over time."
