Over 2,000 students took their seats at School No. 46 named after I. Bagranyan, of whom about 170 are first-graders. They are especially fortunate: the school is rapidly modernizing, making the learning process even more engaging and effective, and providing students with new opportunities to unlock their potential, implement the boldest projects and ideas. One of the upgrades for September is the computer science and engineering technology classroom, established with the support of PO "Energoкомплект".
Now it features everything necessary to develop the digital and engineering competencies that are in such high demand in today's labor market: 15 new high-performance computers, a laptop, a multimedia projector, and a printer.
First, even before the ceremonial assembly, students from class 11"A"—where a specialized profile group has been established—tested the computer equipment. Computer science and mathematics play a particularly important role in these students' academic lives.
– A long-awaited event for eleventh-graders, – comments upcoming graduate Ivan Dvoryankin. – I believe the learning process itself will proceed more smoothly, there will be fewer system lags, and software will run correctly. We used to encounter issues with this. I regularly engage in 3D modeling and video editing, which requires fairly powerful hardware. I cannot do this at home due to my personal computer's limited capabilities. Now I will be able to work on these tasks at school.
With the technical upgrade of the classroom, Ivan and his classmates will have significantly more opportunities and prospects for success. Here they will be able to work on engineering projects and master graphic design. As an eleventh-grader, he participates in 3D modeling competitions, produces social awareness videos and book trailers, and consistently wins prize positions at both the regional and republican levels. He has already selected his university and field of study. Next autumn, he envisions himself as a BSU student specializing in computer modeling and web application development. Although admission cutoff scores are high, securing a state-funded placement is "quite possible", particularly given the school's enhanced technical resources for preparation, the young man assesses his chances.
– Updating the computer science classroom provides many opportunities for our overall development – it helps with studies, – shares eleventh-grade student Anastasia Belyaeva. – Since I am a philology student, I need the equipment for watching educational videos and searching for information.
Powerful computers and other equipment for this classroom were purchased through sponsorship funds. Production Association "EnergoKomplekt" presented the institution with a gift certificate worth 30,000 rubles. This spring, the school signed a cooperation agreement with the enterprise as part of an engineering group program for tenth-grade students studying mathematics and computer science at an advanced level.
The production association works with advanced technologies on a daily basis – the facility manufactures products that are highly valued in Belarus and abroad. The operations of "EnergoKomplekt" feature modern equipment, complex technological processes, and high standards for personnel.
– Behind every achievement lies the work of people – engineers, technologists, programmers, and workers. It is their ideas and expertise that transform metal into cables and into solutions that advance the energy sector, industry, and transportation. Today, we not only invest in production development but also take steps toward future engineers. At these computers, students will be able to create 3D models, brainstorm, design, and experience what it feels like to be true professionals right at school, – noted Alesia Ivanova, Deputy General Director for Human Resources at Production Association "EnergoKomplekt".
She encouraged the students not to postpone their dreams, not to fear challenges, and to embrace new experiences, adding that the enterprise is always open to talented and dedicated individuals. Alesia Ivanova presented the school with a copy of the book "Our President" on behalf of the enterprise.
School Principal Valentina Shamshura described the enterprise's gift – the upgraded engineering classroom – as a prime example of effective collaboration between business and education.
– Over the past 15 years of the school’s operation, much has been accomplished. Each year, the creative potential and educational level of our students grow, and new achievements emerge. Last year, two students became winners of the republican olympiad, we graduated 11 medalists, and we plan to increase their number, noted Valentina Shamshura. – It is gratifying that the management of the production association, Chairman of the Board of Directors Sergei Podgaisky, not only focuses on developing his enterprise but also invests in the youth. They support them and create all conditions for realizing their goals and developing their talents.
The new classroom was opened on Knowledge Day before the ceremonial assembly. The first bell rang not only for lessons but also for new prospects.
