Vitebsk once again became a hub attracting proactive individuals. This time, over 200 women from Belarus and Russia, seeking to combine successful business careers with motherhood, gathered in the city on the Dvina River to connect with like-minded peers, discover fresh ideas for business development, and find inspiration for new accomplishments.

The event was organized under the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Women's Union of JSC "Belagroprombank" and the Moscow Regional Branch of the Women's Union of Russia, with the support of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, P. Masherov Vitebsk State University, and the regional organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" (BSW).

Festival participants received a warm welcome at P. Masherov Vitebsk State University. There, they had the opportunity to visit an exhibition showcasing the scientific achievements of Vitebsk higher education institutions and the works of local artisans.

In their addresses to the attendees, Olga Shpilevskaya, Chairperson of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" and Director of the MTRK "Mir" Representative Office in Belarus, and Marina Veremeenko, Chairperson of the Council of Deputies of the Solnechnogorsk Urban Okrug, Moscow Region, and Chairperson of the Coordination Council of Women Parliamentarians at the Moscow Regional Branch of the Women's Union of Russia, underscored the significant role of women in modern society. Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee Anzhelika Nikitina spoke on the development and support of women's business initiatives in the Vitebsk region. Rector of P. Masherov Vitebsk State University Valentina Bogatyreva addressed the university's scientific and educational potential and possible directions for international cooperation, while Director of the State Enterprise "Cultural and Historical Complex 'Golden Ring of Vitebsk' 'Dvina'" Elena Chernykh discussed tourism development in Vitebsk. Social projects of the regional organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" (BSW) were presented by its Chairperson, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee Marina Novitskaya.

Activists of the women's movement from the Russian side addressed issues concerning the expansion of women's participation in export-import activities and their access to international sales markets, assistance to women in developing entrepreneurial competencies in both countries, preservation and popularization of folk crafts, material and spiritual-cultural heritage, drawing attention to the roots of the distinctiveness of the Slavic world, among other matters.

The charitable inclusive project “Corporate Social Responsibility: ‘A World in Colors’” was presented by JSC “Belagroprombank”. Its initiative “Igrow Attraction Centers: Growing Business – Creating the Future” was also noteworthy.

During the festival, an Agreement on Cooperation between the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Public Association “BSW” and the Moscow Regional Branch of the Union of Women of Russia was signed. Memorandums on Cooperation were also concluded between the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Association “Ivolga” and P. Masherov Vitebsk State University, as well as with the Cultural and Historical Complex “Golden Ring of Vitebsk ‘Dvina’.”

The second day of the festival will be held in Polotsk.
