Activists of the structural subdivisions of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the LDPRB participated in the Republican Subbotnik, where they cleaned up roadside areas along the streets of their cities and towns, recreational parks, and courtyard spaces. The labor detachment of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Belarus collected approximately 46,200 200-liter garbage bags, carried out sanitary pruning of trees and shrubs, and painted curbs, benches, and street decor elements.

Igor Teplyakov: Our party strives to consistently organize various events aimed at landscaping and maintaining order on the ground. We do not wish to remain on the sidelines and, with full support, contribute our modest, voluntary efforts to improving our streets, courtyards, waterfront areas, and parks, making them cleaner, more comfortable, and more attractive. Our work for the benefit of society also serves as a positive, tangible example for every citizen of our country and, no less importantly, for our younger generation! And during the Year of Landscaping, this initiative is particularly meaningful, timely, and highly relevant! The staff of the Oktyabrsky District Administration of Vitebsk, the Main State Tax Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Region, the Main State Tax Inspectorate of the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk, the Department of Education, and educational institutions under the leadership of Administration Head Vladimir Belevich, as part of the Republican Subbotnik, conducted cleanup operations today in the Park named after the Soviet Army (Mazurino).

As part of the Republican Subbotnik, residents of Novopolotsk planted 80 apple saplings near the spiritual and educational center under construction, which includes a church dedicated to the Holy Archangel Michael. The number is symbolic, representing the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Representatives of municipal authorities, enterprises, and institutions took part in the event.

The republican subbotnik brought together residents of Dubrovno of all ages in their desire to restore order to their native land. Residents of Dubrovno and rural settlements are engaged in cleaning the territory, clearing shrubbery, tidying up military burial sites, and maintaining the premises of enterprises and organizations. The subbotnik is proceeding productively in the Tolochin district. Order is being restored throughout the city and in rural settlements – streets, courtyards, cultural facilities, military burial sites, and territories of organizations and institutions are being cleaned. Labor collectives, school students, and city residents are actively working. Representatives of labor collectives, led by district leadership, have gone out to clean streets and improve territories in Miory. In total, over 5,000 people are working at the subbotnik across the district. The Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee worked at the republican subbotnik on the construction site of the new surgical building of the Regional Clinical Hospital. In the Lepel district, the location for tidying up became the territory of the City and Komsomol parks, as well as the embankment of Lake Lepel. Here, employees of the District Executive Committee, the education system, and other active residents of Lepel are working.

The Sharkoushchy district has joined the republican subbotnik. Employees of all enterprises and organizations are working at designated sites. Staff and officials of the district executive committee, together with the Iody rural council, representatives of organizations and institutions located within its territory, and student youth, are carrying out improvement works in the agro-township of Iody. Residents of Sharkoushchy are actively participating in the Republican subbotnik. The leadership of the Rasony district executive committee is improving the grounds of the Museum of Combat Brotherhood, scheduled to open in May. The administration team of the Pervomaysky district of Vitebsk, under the direction of Head of Administration Evgeny Semyonychev, along with the district Center for Social Support for the Population (TTS SON), are participating in the republican subbotnik and working on landscaping the territory of the bath and recreation complex on Street of Warrior-Internationalists. Officials of the Beshenkovichy district are working on site preparation in the Komsomol Park. Teams from the Dokshitsy district executive committee and the district Council of Deputies are tidying up the Khadourawka memorial complex.
Within the framework of the republican subbotnik, led by the Chairman of the Sennoye district executive committee Oleg Makarevich and the Chairman of the district Council of Deputies Mikhail Viluga, structural subdivisions of the district executive committee are carrying out improvement works in the 40th Anniversary of Victory Park.

Employees of the Verkhnedvinsk district executive committee, the departments of labor, employment and social protection, agriculture and food, the financial department, the design bureau, and the Central District Hospital are tidying up the city park.

The administration staff of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk, under the leadership of Head of Administration Aleksandr Sysoyev, together with representatives of the workforce from JSC "Dolomit", State Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 10", and State Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 19", are tidying up the Ruba microdistrict.

Employees of the Culture Center "Vitebsk" enthusiastically participated in the republican subbotnik. They carried out cleaning in the institution's branches, improved the adjacent territories, and also tidied up the graves of their colleagues. In the Park named after the Soviet Army, service members of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Air Assault Brigade joined the staff to help maintain cleanliness.

Funds raised on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will be allocated to the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus.

As previously reported, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 50 on February 5, providing for the construction between 2025 and 2027 of the National Historical Museum of Belarus, the Park of People’s Unity, and the establishment of a permanent museum exhibition in the vicinity of Orlovskaya Street in Minsk. The museum has been granted the status of an All-Belarusian Youth Construction Site, open to young people up to 31 years of age, including those participating in student work brigades. The new building is being designed in the shape of a map of Belarus.
