День открытых дверей прошел в Комитете госконтроля Витебской области

Miory Regional Executive Committee

An open house was held at the Vitebsk Regional State Control Committee. Ten eleventh-grade students participated, wishing to pursue careers linked to the control authority.

However, only one of the invited 11th-grade students from Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Lepel, and Orsha will receive a targeted admission referral from the Regional State Control Committee to enroll in the "State Audit" major. The successful applicant will be determined through a competition, the key stage of which will be an oral mathematics examination.

The "State Audit" major at Belarusian State University was launched in 2023 at the initiative of the State Control Committee. Currently, 25 students are enrolled in this profile, some of whom are studying under targeted admission agreements. One of them is from the Vitebsk Region.

– Traditionally, our organization has invited individuals with work experience who have proven themselves well in related fields of activity, – noted the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional State Control Committee Vladimir Godyatsky. – Now we have decided to train young specialists ourselves, and for the second year running, we are conducting recruitment for targeted training.

As part of the open house, high school students were thoroughly familiarized with the work of the State Control Committee, and prospects for potential cooperation were outlined. The head of the regional department reminded graduates that regardless of the competition results, they will have the opportunity to submit their resumes to the human resources department for consideration upon graduation. The students were also provided with detailed information about the terms of service in the Financial Police – a militarized unit of the republican State Control Committee, where capable and strong young men would be welcome as applicants.

Darya Khomchenko, student of Vitebsk Secondary School No. 12 named after L. Filipenko:

– One of my favorite subjects is social studies; through its in-depth study, I became interested in economics and plan to enroll at Belarusian State University (BSU) in the “state audit” program. Sports are also among my interests—I practiced rhythmic gymnastics for eight years. I dedicate my free time to reading literary works. I strive for comprehensive personal development, aim to fully realize my talents, and hope to contribute to society in the future.

Gordei Sukhodolec, student at the Novopolotsk State College of Olympic Reserve:

– I have been professionally practicing judo since early childhood and hold the Candidate Master of Sports title. Regular training has taught me discipline and self-control. I am not afraid to take decisive action. If something does not work out, I draw lessons from it and try again. I aspire to become a competent economist. The “state audit” program interests me because it provides excellent knowledge in public administration and finance, paving the way for a successful career.
