A unique online quiz on the electoral campaign has been launched in Vitebsk.

The project is designed for youth aged 14 to 31 and comprises a diverse range of events whose objective is to more actively engage young Belarusians in the electoral process and foster their interest in matters of state governance. As reported by the administration of the Pervomaysky District of Vitebsk, the "Youth Decides" program is the most comprehensive. It includes thematic meetings with representatives of political parties, the marathon "I Choose My Own Future", the flashmob "I Am a Citizen" among participants of young voter clubs, business games, debates, production of video clips and electronic presentations, surveys, and much more.

Youth constitutes the main electoral reserve of society, reflects one of the project participants, pedagogical organizer at Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 5 named after I.I. Lyudnikov, Valentin Radkevich:

– According to statistics, every fourth potential voter is under the age of 30. This should be taken into account when working with youth, explaining to them that going to the polls is not merely a duty of each of us as citizens, but first and foremost an opportunity to contribute to our own future and the future of our country. At the same time, discussing politics with young people must be done in a language they understand. For example, yesterday our team "Youth Decides" supported the online challenge "Open Your Mailbox". The message of the video clip, which anyone can join, is simple: go to the polls so that your tomorrow is in your own hands.

About the quiz "Ready for Elections", which launched today, February 15, one of its main developers Ilya Kuznetsov told. A history teacher at Vitebsk Secondary School No. 12 and, concurrently like Valentin Radkevich, a member of the Council of Working Youth under the Administration of the Pervomaysky District of Vitebsk shared:

– The ten-question quiz on the electoral campaign can be taken on social networks, in particular in the Telegram channel "PRO Pervomaysky". When compiling the quiz, the guiding principle was the desire to genuinely interest participants. The questions cannot be easily Googled on the internet. To answer correctly, one needs to be well-versed in the topic. However, as a bonus we offer the simplest question, which everyone will definitely answer: it concerns the Single Voting Day – February 25.
