The Vitebsk Region signed a memorandum of cooperation with Zonghai Business Management (Jinan) Co during the 6th China International Import Expo in Shanghai. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The signing of the memorandum of cooperation took place within the framework of the Vitebsk Region Day at the exhibition. On behalf of the Belarusian region, the document was signed by Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

"A memorandum of cooperation with Zonghai Business Management (Jinan) Co regarding the establishment of the Belarus Industry Park in the PRC in the city of Qingdao (Shandong Province) and the China Industry Park in Vitebsk has been signed," the Regional Executive Committee clarified.

Today, the Vitebsk Region Day is being held at the exhibition, with more than 10 enterprises from the northern region of Belarus participating. They are presenting their products, including the Vitebsk concern "Meat and Dairy Products", Polotsk Dairy Plant, Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Plant, the "Lepel Meat and Canned Food Combine" branch of the Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant, "Vitsba" confectionery factory, "Naftan" plant, "Polotsk-Glassfiber" enterprise, and textile producer "Orsha Flax Combine".

Among the invited guests are representatives of Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, and Shandong provinces, with which the Vitebsk Region has previously signed agreements and memorandums of cooperation.
