Regional auditions for international competitions within the framework of the XXXIII International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will commence in November.

In Mogilev, the auditions will commence on November 21 at the Regional Palace of Culture. The Minsk Region will host potential contestants on November 30 at the Nesvizh District Center for Culture venue. On December 6, the Gomel Region will conduct its selection at the stage of the City Center for Culture. On December 7, participants will be selected at Grodno State College of Arts. The festival capital will host the audition on December 1, traditionally at the "Vitebsk" Culture Center. The Brest Region will hold auditions for contestants at the Baranovichi City House of Culture on December 2. The first stage of the national selection will conclude on December 11 in Minsk at the "Verkhni Gorad" Concert Hall.

Participants in the preliminary round of the children's music competition include performers who are citizens of Belarus, aged 8 to 14 years inclusive as of the last day of the festival period, possessing concert performance experience and having demonstrated their achievements in international or republican music competitions and festivals. Participants in the preliminary round of the pop song performers competition include Belarusian citizens aged 18 to 31 years inclusive as of the last day of the festival period, possessing concert performance experience and having demonstrated their achievements in international or republican music competitions and festivals.

Two compositions each are required for the audition. Participants in the children's music competition must perform a pop song by a Belarusian author in the Belarusian language and a pop song of their own choice that most vividly reflects their performance skills and artistic abilities. Participants in the pop song performers competition must perform a pop song by a composer from a Slavic country in one of the Slavic languages, as well as a popular composition in a foreign language—a global hit.
