Miory Regional Executive Committee
During the session of the district Council of Deputies, Oleg Makarevich was appointed Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee, having previously headed the well-known agricultural enterprise "Mayak Vysokoye" in the Orsha district.
Oleg Makarevich was born in 1974 in the urban-type settlement of Orekhovsk in the Orsha district. He graduated from the St. Petersburg State Institute of Service and Economics in 2001. From 1996 to 2004, he worked at industrial enterprises in Orsha. From 2008 to 2012, he served as Head of Administration of the Orsha District Executive Committee. He then headed the Orsha District Committee of the Agricultural and Industrial Workers' Trade Union and worked as Deputy Director of JSC "Mayak Vysokoye" in the Orsha district. Since 2018, he has been heading the agricultural enterprise.
Introducing the new head to the regional staff, Vladimir Davydovsky, Head of the Main Directorate for Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that Oleg Arkadyevich has proven himself over the course of his work in various positions as a proactive, competent, and energetic leader. He possesses modern management skills and approaches the resolution of assigned tasks creatively. While serving as director of the agricultural enterprise, he consistently focused on improving efficiency, increasing production volumes, reducing costs, and implementing advanced technologies. Under his leadership, gross output of grain and legume crops, milk production, average daily weight gain in cattle, and the average monthly salary of employees increased. He is characterized by a respectful attitude towards people, strong communication skills, and the ability to persuade others and firmly defend his own viewpoint.
In his address, Oleg Makarevich emphasized that, assuming the helm of the "Senno District" vessel, he fully understands that the wind will not always be favorable. At times, everyone will need to pull together on the oars to achieve the goal. He expressed confidence that all assigned tasks will be within everyone's capabilities.
The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, emphasized that, personally, a positive aspect in Oleg Arkadyevich’s biography was his willingness at the time to move from civil service to the agro-industrial sector, despite the traditional difficulties inherent in it. This speaks volumes. He not only managed to preserve the accumulated expertise within the enterprise but also build upon it. It is also noteworthy that Oleg Makarevich expressed concern about leaving the agricultural enterprise during a difficult dry year. The sole argument that persuaded him was that a drought had also affected Sennenshchina, but the scale of the upcoming work would be considerably greater.
Alexander Subbotin characterized Oleg Makarevich as a cultured and composed individual who will address the assigned task in a steady and sustainable manner. The objective is singular: Sennenshchina consistently holds a mid-tier position in the district rating rankings, although opportunities for further progress exist, alongside capable personnel and viable projects.
