The XI International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" in Vitebsk was held in a broader format compared to the previous year, and next year its program is planned to be supplemented with presentation platforms of foreign enterprises. This was reported to journalists by Angelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, upon summarizing the event's results."The forum proceeded very positively; the atmosphere at the presentation platform was open and conducive to dialogue. There were numerous session participants. Nearly 70 enterprises joined the forum online. Issues of cooperation and integration were discussed intensively. Certain intentions for cooperation have already been formed regarding the supply of food and flax products, as well as agreements on the supply of Vitebsk lifting equipment. At various platforms, attendees communicated and exchanged contacts. Even now, on the second day of the forum, feedback is evident – representatives of Russian regions are calling to inquire about specific enterprises. Many young people visit the demonstration platform, where they familiarize themselves with the educational institutions represented here. Overall, guests and participants responded positively to the organization of such joint venues where regional enterprises, universities, and colleges operate side by side. Everyone is interested in where personnel are trained for particular enterprises and organizations, so this synergy yields positive results," Angelika Nikitina stated.

She added that foreign guests expressed enthusiasm for participating in the forum. Next year, organizers plan to expand the format and position presentation platforms of enterprises from various countries alongside those of the Vitebsk region's industrial sector, enabling them to showcase their potential.

Awards were presented at the closing event to 19 organizations of the Vitebsk Region that won the "Best Products of the Republic of Belarus" contest in 2022. Thirty-four products from enterprises in the northern region were awarded the title of laureates of this contest. Additionally, awards were presented to youth representatives for academic achievements and participation in various professional skills competitions, as well as to eight enterprises of the Vitebsk Region, which were named laureates of the Regional Executive Committee's prize for achievements in quality based on last year's performance.
