State Fire Supervision informs!

In July, employees of the state fire supervision conducted a supervisory event in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the unitary enterprise of housing and communal services of the Miory district (dormitory, hotel in Miory, hotel in Disna).

During the monitoring, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment.

Following the monitoring, a number of violations were identified concerning the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits, compliance with general fire safety requirements, and the serviceability of fire extinguishing equipment. During the monitoring, compliance with legislation by licensees (ODO "Pozhtekhniservis", Department of Internal Affairs Security Department of the Republic of Belarus) in the field of fire safety activities, specifically in the technical maintenance of fire automation systems at facilities, was also studied. Violations committed by them were rectified during the monitoring. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the head.

Employees of the Miory Regional Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need for all employees of enterprises and organizations to comply with fire safety requirements. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
