What has changed in Belarus in January

*From January 1, the size of the base unit in Belarus has increased by 3 rubles (by 7.1%) and will reach 45 rubles.

*The minimum wage has become 132 rubles (18.2%) higher and amounted to 858 rubles from January 1.

*Control over the investigation of industrial accidents has been tightened.

*From January 1, the size of the base rate for labor remuneration in the public sector has increased to 297 rubles.

*From the first day of the new year, restrictions on length-of-service pensions are being lifted in Belarus.

*The Code of Civil Procedure entered into force on January 1.
