Medical Council: The snowfall brought not only the joy of winter entertainment to Belarus, but also dangerous injuries after unsuccessful sledding or tubing rides
For safe sledding, follow a set of rules:
*Tubing should be done on a special track with designated lanes where everyone takes turns strictly.
*The inner tube should not be fully inflated.
*Only one person can sit on the inner tube, holding onto the handles.
*Trees, poles, rivers, trampolines, fences, and roadways are obstacles that lead to injuries.
*A proper slope is a cleared snowy hill.
*Trampolines, connecting sleds and inner tubes, and tying to a car are dangerous!
*Parents of young children should choose a slope that is not too steep and where there are no older children.
*Parents of young children: if the slope is crowded, take your child to another slope.
*Observe the order, do not go down the hill until the path below is clear.
*Teach your child how to fall correctly – it is better to roll over or fall to the side than to collide with a tree or other sleds.
