Republican preventive campaign «For safety together»

To enhance public safety and intensify fire prevention efforts during the autumn-winter period, from October 20 to November 6, 2025, personnel of the branch of the state institution "State Energy and Gas Supervision" for the Vitebsk region are participating in the republican preventive campaign "For Safety Together" (hereinafter referred to as the campaign).

Objective: to reduce the risks of people dying from external causes, including fires, due to citizens' non-compliance with life safety principles, including fire safety rules; to educate citizens, including legally, on life safety issues, including fire safety; to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services (assistance) in the field of fire safety, strengthen law and order, and prevent offenses committed by citizens while intoxicated.

Tasks: to disseminate knowledge about life safety in society and explain the provisions of current regulatory legal acts to foster conviction in the necessity of complying with legislation and preventing offenses in this area; to study the safety status of citizens' households (apartments); to consolidate the efforts of crime prevention entities in eliminating the causes and conditions contributing to the deaths of people from external causes, including fires, in the households (apartments) of lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled individuals, families for whom a decision has been made regarding the presence of criteria and indicators of a socially dangerous situation, citizens using their homes for drinking alcoholic beverages, as well as gatherings of individuals leading an antisocial lifestyle.
