From July 17 to 19, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs will conduct preventive measures aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving and caused by vulnerable road users.
The campaign is aimed at drawing the attention of pedestrians and cyclists to the importance of strictly observing safe road behavior rules, mandatory use of retroreflective elements and high-visibility clothing in the dark, as well as in adverse weather conditions. Enhanced traffic control will be organized.
Special attention will be paid to identifying drivers and pedestrians who grossly violate traffic regulations.
We urge everyone to be extremely careful on the road, and to report pedestrians and cyclists posing a safety hazard by calling 102, in order to promptly remove them from the roadway!
