Mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles remain popular among young people. Every parent buying such a gift for their child should think about safety.

Today, an event aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving young drivers is being held in the Vitebsk region.

Last year, five road traffic accidents involving underage drivers were recorded in the Vitebsk region.

It is unacceptable for individuals under the age of 16 to drive motor transport without a category AM (mopeds) or A1 (motorcycles with an engine displacement not exceeding 125 cubic centimeters and a maximum power not exceeding 11 kilowatts) driver's license.

Only upon reaching the age of 18 is it permitted to operate a motorcycle with a category A driver's license.

Motorcycles must be operated with a helmet and with the low beam headlights turned on.

We urge motorcycle drivers to strictly adhere to traffic regulations and be attentive on the roads.
