THE REPUBLICAN FIRE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN TO PREVENT FIRES AND DEATHS FROM THEM IN RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

To improve the level of public safety, intensify fire prevention work, analyze its effectiveness, and assess the readiness of territories for the spring-summer fire hazard period, from March 17 to April 4, 2025, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" is being held to prevent fires and deaths from them in residential buildings.

Objective: to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, including rural areas; to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services in the field of fire safety; to strengthen law and order; to prevent offenses committed by citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

Tasks:

1. To inform the public about the state of fire safety, to explain to citizens the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety rules, leaving children unattended, and alcohol abuse.

2. To assist republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations in training citizens in fire safety measures in everyday life and at work, and to assist volunteer fire brigades in organizing fire prevention work.

3. To focus the attention of local executive and administrative bodies on the need for regular and targeted work to ensure fire safety in their respective territories, including improving the fire protection level of households (apartments) of single and lonely elderly citizens and disabled people, and large families.
