March 15 – Consumer Day
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 26, 1998, No. 157 "On State Holidays, Public Holidays and Memorial Dates in the Republic of Belarus", annually on March 15, a holiday is celebrated in the republic – Consumer Day.
In 2025, in the Eurasian Economic Union member states, Consumer Day is held under the motto "Consumer – in the spotlight: from balancing interests to fair dispute resolution" (at the meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Recommendation No. 4 of February 18, 2025 "On the theme of joint activities of the Eurasian Economic Union member states in the field of consumer rights protection in 2025" was adopted).
This theme emphasizes the importance of consumer rights protection and is designed to draw attention to the fair resolution of disputes between consumers and businesses. The foundation for such work is laid by the Program of Joint Actions of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States in the Field of Consumer Rights Protection.

The Program of Joint Actions of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States in the Field of Consumer Rights Protection was adopted by the Order of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council of June 21, 2022, No. 12. The Program provides for annual work on informing and educating the population of the Eurasian Economic Union on consumer rights protection issues. The theme of such work is determined annually, starting from 2023, and is fixed by a recommendation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
