Program of Events of the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair

The XXXII Minsk International Book Fair will be held from March 12 to 16, 2025, at the administrative complex at 14 Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk. The exhibition will officially open on March 12 at 12:00 PM.

More than 500 exhibitors from 21 countries are expected to participate.

Given that Belarus chairs the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025, the central stand this year will feature an interactive collective exposition of the EAEU member states, united by the common theme of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Each day of the book fair will be dedicated to an EAEU member state: March 12 – Republic of Kazakhstan Day, March 13 – Kyrgyz Republic Day, March 14 – Russian Federation Day, March 15 – Republic of Belarus Day, March 16 – Republic of Armenia Day.

On March 12, as part of the Republic of Kazakhstan Day, a presentation of Kazakhstan's cultural and tourism potential will be held, along with a large literary meeting "Kazakhstan – Belarus: Meridians of Friendship," during which Lyailya Akhmetova's book "1941. Brest Fortress. Kazakhstan" will be presented.

On March 13, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, in conjunction with the Union of Writers of Belarus, will hold a major presentation dedicated to the works of Chingiz Aitmatov and joint publishing projects.

On March 14, Russia Day, an extensive program is planned not only at the Russian stand but also on the main stage of the fair, featuring performances by creative groups, musicians, and poets from the regions of Russia: Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Tatarstan, and Chechnya. Also on the main stage, there will be meetings with resident writers of the "Book Train" – a large project connecting cities and countries. The train will depart from St. Petersburg along the route: "Minsk – Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod – Kazan – Ulyanovsk – Volgograd." The train will stop in each city for one day, during which meetings with writers and poets will be held. In Minsk, the following will perform: science fiction writer Dmitry Emets; author of popular youth novels Asya Lavrinovich; children's writers Katya Matyushkina and Valentin Postnikov; writers Valery Popov and Oleg Roy, and many others.

On March 15, the Republic of Belarus Day, presentations of the most significant publishing projects ("Symbols of Sovereign Belarus", "Superposition. Parallel Worlds"), a meeting with People's Writer of Belarus Nikolai Cherginets, and a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the 64th National Competition "The Art of the Book" will take place.

Also, on March 15, a practical seminar "Modern Trends in Book Design" will be held at the exhibition pavilion with the participation of representatives from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts and the Book Chamber of Belarus.

On March 16, the folklore ensemble "Erebuni" will present the cultural potential of Armenia.

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, in conjunction with diplomatic missions of foreign states accredited in the Republic of Belarus, the "International Quarter" will be organized, featuring a wide representation of foreign literature by delegations and diplomatic missions from near and far abroad countries. The opening of the "International Quarter" will take place on March 13 at 11:00 AM.

The exhibition organizers will ensure the operation of a poetic bus, which will allow everyone to get to the exhibition venue for free and, during the trip, to communicate with representatives of creative literary circles, and to hear recitations of works by poets and prose writers. Route No. 935 will operate from March 12 to March 16, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The bus will depart from the Palace of Sports and head to the exhibition venue. The frequency of service will be every 15 minutes.
