OSVOD of Miory District informs

The official swimming season in the Republic of Belarus began on May 1 and will last until September 30, 2024.

There are 96 bodies of water on the territory of the Miory district.

According to the Decision of the Miory Executive Committee dated November 11, 2023 No. 895 "On determining the places of use of surface water bodies for recreation, sports and tourism", two beaches are in operation: - on Lake "Miorskoye" (city park "Poluostrov"), - on Lake "Obsterno" (on the side of the village of Perebrodye, Miory district).

Places where swimming by citizens is prohibited: - chalk quarries, - technical and melioration canals, - fire ponds, - artificial reservoirs, - dams, - dikes, - locks and other hydraulic structures, - section of the shore of Lake Miorskoye – 50 meters in both directions from the bathhouse of the city of Miory, - shore of Lake Miorskoye on the side of Ozernaya Street in the city of Miory, - shore of Lake Miorskoye on the side of Kirova Street in the city of Miory from the bridge across the Meritsa River to the building of the Miory Rescue Station of the OSVOD, - 100 meters in both directions from the ferry crossing on the Western Dvina River, located in the city of Disna, Miory district.
