OSVOD of Miory District informs
The official swimming season in the Republic of Belarus runs from May 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
There are 96 bodies of water in the Miory district.
According to the Decision of the Miory Executive Committee dated November 11, 2023, No. 895 "On determining the places of use of surface water bodies for recreation, sports and tourism," two beaches are operational: - on Lake "Miorskoye" (city park "Poluostrov"), - on Lake "Obsterno" (on the side of the village of Perebrodye, Miory district).
Places where swimming is prohibited for citizens include: - chalk quarries, - technical and melioration canals, - fire ponds, - artificial reservoirs, - dams, - dikes, - locks and other hydraulic structures, - a section of the shore of Lake Miorskoye – 50 meters in both directions from the banya (bathhouse) in the town of Miory, - the shore of Lake Miorskoye on the side of Ozernaya Street in the town of Miory, - the shore of Lake Miorskoye on the side of Kirova Street in the town of Miory from the bridge over the Meritsa River to the building of the Miory rescue station of OSVOD, - 100 meters in both directions from the ferry crossing on the Western Dvina River, located in the town of Disna, Miory district.
