On February 23, the State Automobile Inspectorate is holding a Unified Road Safety Day «Do Not Remain Indifferent!»

In 2023, 131 traffic accidents with material damage were registered in the Miory district, in which 20 participants left the scene of the accident.

In accordance with Part 2 of Article 18.16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus: leaving the scene of a traffic accident by a driver who is a participant thereof, in cases where this is prohibited by legislative acts, entails a fine of 5 to 25 base units or deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for up to two years.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds that in case of a traffic accident in which you are a participant, you must report it to the duty station of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs by phone 102 and remain at the scene of the accident until the traffic police officers arrive (except for the decision to draw up a European protocol without calling the traffic police).
